UWS Song Writing days - 31/01/24

Spending a couple of days dedicating time, and concentration to writing a song was a real pleasure. Although I took way too much equipment in with me. I had a keyboard, an acoustic guitar, an electric guitar with pedals, a classical guitar, drum pads, a microphone, and a computer with Ableton Live suite on it. I surrounded myself with all the tools, but in the end my classical guitar and notebook were enough to work with, I wasted a lot of time working that out, but the decision to close the computer and ditch all the equipment became the inspiration which lead to my song For Mother Nature. I turned on my audio recorder, picked up my classical guitar, and began an improve singing about technology failing , and noticing how beautiful the storm was outside. The initial title was Won't Let Me Go, which is a simplified version of the music and lyrics of For Mother Nature. I will make the audio available to listen to.
